爱国治民，能无为乎。天门开阖，能为雌乎。明白四达，能无知乎。
All is generated and maintained, but nothing does it claim as his own; all is done, but nothing does it boast of; all is raised; but nothing does it dominate. This is what is called the very worth.
生之蓄之，生而不有，为而不恃，长而不宰，是谓玄德。
