谁等谁Who Waits for Whom ?
Mr and Mrs Allen go grocery shopping on Saturday mornings. Mr Allen never enjoys these trips.
每逢新期六上午，阿伦先生和阿伦太太都要购买生活必需品。阿伦先生从来都不喜欢这些旅行。
Mrs Allen does the shopping and he sits in the car and waits for her. This morning there were a lot of people and it took Mrs Allen longer than usual.
阿伦太太进行采购，而阿伦先生则坐在车里等候她。这天上午人很多，阿伦太太花的时间比平时多些。
An hour went by and finally a man came up to Mr Allen. “ Excuse me.” He said. “ is your name Allen? Your wife is waiting for you at the check-out counter. She doesn’t have enough money for the groceries !”
一个小时过去了，终于有一个男子朝阿伦先生走过来。“ 对不起，”他说，“ 你叫伦吗？你的太太正在收银台处等你。她买生活用品的钱不够！”
